If there is one scale a goldsmith needs, this is it! Evaluate the purity of gold, white gold, platinum, silver, and solid ingots of other metals without cutting, drilling, or etching. The GKS-3000 will return measurements in both percentages and karats for gold (9 - 24K) and millesimal fineness for silver and platinum (600 - 1000 ppt). Please note that any inset stones must be removed before use in order to obtain accurate measurements.
Use the GKS-3000 to check the average purity of scrap metal pieces, or to measure the mass and density up to three kilograms. Additional features include die-cast aluminum housing, built-in clock, and RS232 interface for connecting auxiliary devices such as printers. Two kilogram calibration weight sold separately.
